The candidate will have:
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and analyse information, and to think creatively and independently to arrive at supportable conclusions where data is incomplete and of poor quality. They will have some experience of working with (or as part of) intelligence, national security, defence and/or law enforcement agencies and departments, or equivalent work in the private sector, and the ability to develop contacts and relationships among these communities and across Whitehall. They will have ability to drive forward delivery of team objectives by working through stakeholders with different agendas and responsibilities, supporting them to deliver for HMT.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. Strong analytical ability, confident in using data and intelligence material to come to supportable conclusions.
2. Able communicator and capable influencer, comfortable and effective with communicating with senior staff and external stakeholders to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team.
3. Able to work collaboratively but where necessary with autonomy, exercising sound judgement, in sensitive environments.
